of a prince of the first rank, possibly Shi Wenying and his wife, the sister of the Qianlong Emperor. The prince wears a blue-ground audience robe, a winter hat surmounted by a ruby finial, with a three-eyed peacock feather, and a necklace. He sits on an elaborately inlaid throne and rests his feet on a footstool. His wife is similarly portrayed and wears a brown-ground robe beneath a sleeveless surcoat.
