52 A very fine biscuit figure of a dignitary Kangxi period seated on a throne. His hands rest on his knees and his features bear an intense expression. The well-modelled figure wears long robes, from which his feet protrude, tied with a belt and a shawl. His head, hands and feet are unglazed and his head is a natural flesh tone. The aubergine and turquoise glazes are thickly applied and lustrous. |
