A very fine and large glazed pottery model of a camel standing four square on an unglazed base. Its head is raised with its mouth open as if braying, and its tail is flicked around its haunches. The camels head, neck, humps and front legs are very well carved to simulate fur. The camel is covered with lustrous amber and cream glazes.
