A very fine and rare glass bird feeder of cylindrical form, one side with an aperture of double-gourd shape and the other with a snowflake-white glass bar for attachment. The milky ,white glass is overlaid in blue with carved figures of Immortals in acrobatic postures amid rockwork and with a tasselled hanging inscribed with the characters da ji (highly auspicious). The bar is flashed with red glass carved with an Immortal on a buffalo. The top and base have a layer of snowflake-white and red glass; the top with a circular opening.
