We are pleased to present our 2007 Summer exhibition catalogue. We have always sought to offer for sale rare, unusual and thought-provoking works of art and ceramics and we hope to have succeeded this time.
The majority of the exhibits have rested for many years in private
collections all over the world, some distinguished and some lesser known,
whose owners appreciated areas of Chinese art for the love of the subject
and of the culture.
We do hope those of you who travel to London this summer will be able
to visit us and see the exhibition itself.
I would like to thank the following people for their hard work, dedication
and enthusiasm in the production of this catalogue: Ken Adlard for the
photography, Amanda Brookes for the design, Anthony Evans for some
of the translation, Philippa Fergusson, assisted by Katherine Butler, for
