ROGER KEVERNE WINTER 2002

We are pleased to present our winter exhibition, which is held to coincide with Asian Art in London. London has traditionally been the pre-eminent centre for Chinese art, thanks mostly to pioneers in the field such as Sir Percival David, and Asian Art in London continues to keep the city a vibrant location for collectors, scholars and enthusiasts.

It is the common lament of antique dealers that good objects are hard to find and we are, therefore, fortunate to be able to offer such a wide range of rare and unusual items for sale. It is always a delight to find a special work of art that stimulates the imagination, reawakens enthusiasm and deepens knowledge, and we hope you will find such inspiration here.

Many of the exhibits have come from private and museum collections. While some wish to remain anonymous, we are pleased to offer works of art formerly owned by Mrs du Pont Copeland, Henry de Laszlo, The Idemitsu Museum, Carl Kempe, J. P. Morgan, Sir Humphry Noble, T. B. Walker and Sir John Woolf among others.
